At Lakshmi Farmstead, we dream and strive to live in harmony with Nature. We are planting trees, in many ways we could think of. Miyawaki methods are carefully studied and we are about to grow a Miyawaki Forest; joining the afforestation drive across the globe.
We have already planted 100+ wild trees, deciduous trees, fruit trees, evergreen trees, flower trees, medicinal trees... Trees are ecstatic! This is our humble effort to address Climate Change!
Be at a place you choose to be with You! Be free... you could sing, dance, read, write, paint, make things, cook, meditate, play, cultivate, chat, learn, watch films, work...
You could walk approximately 2km through the trail routes we carved out. An off-road bicycle trail, of course a short one, but with so many tactical curves and slopes could also be dared. We wish to extend the trail through even more dramatic terrain adjacent. Then ours might be a 4km loop.
We soulfully welcome everyone to live and experience an uncomplicated life!
After all that day you are accommodated and caressed by the two Homes; "The Rune" and "The Root". A farmstead lifestyle you are about to live, let it be a day, a week, a month, or even a year, you could experience an alternate lifestyle within nature.
We do have two traditional houses to host you with very essential setups like a Kitchen, vegetable garden, bunk beds, fish room, home theatre, etc
Also, you may choose our Farm Stays as a “Work from Farm” destination at these ill-fated days of the pandemic, totally isolated and safe! .
Be a part of our daily chores ranging from feeding sparrows to caring for our tree saplings to fishing and grilling to camping to off-road biking to meditating to taming our mighty Dasha the Doggie 🙂

We try to grow a diverse variety of vegetables, native and exotic, all around the season. Rain patterns, time of the year it rains and the quantity it pours CHANGED these days and it directly affects the growing.
A bunch of hens and roosters (fee range local breeds) Guinea fowls and Turkey are raised for egg and meat. We make all these available to the local consumers in excess.
Edible and ornamental fishes are reared and harvested. It is so fun when we fish and grill just near our pond. We love Aquascaping too! and it’s one service we do for our fellow fishkeepers!
It’s our “Dasha the Rott” only at the moment. We are planning to get one or two local breeds like “Malayan and Kollivarayan”.
We do have some lovely budgies and finches flying across our spacious walk-in aviary. You won’t look at a watch whilst watching them on the branches of a dead tree, up-close!
Bikes are cool when it becomes one with us! We have a short but challenging trail track with some highly tactical curves, slopes and steeps. Get your bikes and safety gear.. lets ride…
Here we try growing some exotic fruit trees alongside native fruit trees like Jack Tree, Mango Tree, Chamba, Guava, Chickoo, Mulberry, Cherry etc.
The answer we found to catalyze afforestation and see a forest grow in our lifetime. Climate Change needs to be addressed in all possible ways.
